Blending heritage with modernity, ANNADA partners with Mohamed Saleh Al Zari to reimagine the Thobe Al-Nashil as a contemporary masterpiece. This iconic Bahraini garment remains central to grand occasions such as weddings, henna nights, Ramadan evenings, and national celebrations.
Crafted from lightweight silk in vibrant colors, the thobe is adorned with golden Zari threads made from silver, featuring intricate designs inspired by Asian civilizations. Geometric shapes like arches, squares, and triangles, influenced by Bahraini forts, decorate the edges, known locally as Al-Buroi or Al-Buruj. Central patterns include motifs such as Al-Beithanah (Almond), Al-Kazowah (Cashew), and Al-Warda (Flower), rendered in the detailed Manbat style.
This collaboration seamlessly merges traditional craftsmanship with contemporary artistry, creating a timeless statement for those who cherish culture and art.
